Wow! Today I am breathing a sigh of relief to know that another Open House is behind us. It is such an intense time of work for an art teacher, but very satisfying to see all of our students' work displayed, and to meet so many families. It is lovely on the evening to sit back and watch my students enter the art room and show off their work. It's a bit like a treasure hunt. Below are some photos I took of the art exhibit in room # 502 , I'm sure Ms. Ruzzier will soon add some photos from her room too.At the end of the photo gallery are some shots of the recent food project. 7th & 8th grade students were challenged to create a realistic food sculpture and they did a fabulous job. You can also see the project in-process as bisque-fired pieces and fresh out of the glaze kiln. ~Ms. Emma
